Some yahoo was sent to prison in Austria for three years for denying the holocaust. He's not the sort of guy I look to defend, but since when does a mere dumbass opinion necessitate a prison sentence? Our Man in Washington, George Will has a good piece on the sad events here. A Dane said during the recent troubles there, "Free speech is free speech is free speech".
As a graduate of UCONN I had first hand experience with the speech police, who in the name of tolerance and diversity are among the least tolerant people on the planet. A pox on them, may the be perpetually annoyed at the sound of their own breathing.
