Sabrina M. Weiner

Sabrina M. Weiner was a USN Lieutenant who refused individual assignment to Iraq, not because she 's opposed to the war, but because she opposes the individual augmentee program which assigns Naval and Air Force officers to administrative, medical and legal posts in Iraq and Afghanistan so that Army and Marine Corps officers can concentrate on combat operations.
"It is not an against-the-war argument but a people-accountability argument, I was proud to say I was a Navy officer. My problem is the way they are using us as IAs. It minimizes the job and training we do for the Navy."
Well LT, that's why the call it the service. Do you think the anyone relishes these assignments?
