A spokesman for Mr. Salty had this to say in a tersely worded press release "It's a sad day in America when a beloved breakfast icon can't speak her mind in a public forum." Mr. Peanut reached at his home in Plains GA, would not weigh in on the expulsion other than to say he was "deeply concerned and very saddened", or it could have been "very concerned and deeply saddened", either way you get the gist.
